COURAGEOUS.  A movie about 5 dads (4 of which are police officers) discovering the real value of their role and their quest of taking up the responsibility of becoming 'the Dad' that God calls them to be -- not just "good enough" fathers to their children.

Here's the lesson we did for our J12 tweens (8-12 yrs old) in Children's Church for Father's Day.  It's simple but, I believe, it spoke clearly to our children as it did to us, teachers.

Where to begin?

I think I placed a little pressure on myself for Father's Day when we pulled off the lolli-flower craft (posted here) in our Children's Church for the Moms. 

Good thing, there's Pinterest to squeeze some creative juices in me.  Hah-ha!
