Rainy days makes me long for Mary Grace's thick & creamy hot chocolate drink.  Just the thought of it now, gives me a warm comfort, something like snuggling with my husband under the bed sheets while listening to the wind & rain drops outside (ang drama!).

Vegan Wednesday is now becoming our weekly routine.  My friend and I look forward to it as our mid-week break from everyday meat diet or our "mid-week meat fast".  Among the vegan restaurants we've been to, Blissful Belly would probably top our list of favorite vegan restaurants in the Metro.

FREEdom day indeed! With office work out of the way, H & I were able to accomplish a lot of things we've been setting our minds to do but can't find time to do it.  We checked out a condo unit on sale with Dad & bro this morning, attended our G12 lunch meeting (Tita Zeny's super halo2x special was a winner!), spa date & haircut this afternoon, and then, dinner in our all-time favorite spot - Pizza Hut!  Well, what's a holiday without pizza, right?  At least, in our family. ;)

Mister Kabab serves a wide selection of Mediterranean meals at affordable prices.  Since its main restaurant at West Ave. is a couple of blocks away from our church, it's one of our favorite go-to for late-night meals after band practice or afternoon church service.

I had little expectations in this small crummy place.  Holding on to a faint memory of a good yakisoba sizzling I once tried here, I gave Sizzling Pepper Steak another try.

My husband celebrated his 5th year in the office last week. We've been excited about it and have been scouting for a good restaurant to celebrate with his teammates.  Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned on my side - after a long and stressful day, I arrived in the party very late with cold food & with everybody seems ready to go home.  In spite of my err-frustrations, I tried my best to keep my cool and not ruin my husband's night.  It's his night after all, I reminded myself.  Sensing my uneasiness, my husband suggested to hangout after all of his teammates left -- may be a good desert can turn things around for me.

Though we frequent SM North, H & I actually dread hanging-out there due to its lack of peaceful sitting area.  Kaya naman, we're so excited when we came across Cello's in the middle of SM Sky Garden.

Finally, I was able to try all of Happy Lemon's Rock Salt Cheese drinks! Thanks to my lovely sis-in-law, Wawel for treating us last night. ;-) My fav remains RSC Cocoa, (as I mentioned in my last entry), but I enjoyed the refreshing taste of RSC Green Tea w/ its sampaguita-like aroma.  Totoo nga!

I wonder if this tea-craze is just a fad or a mainstay?
