Today - January 18, 2012, Wikipedia community blacked out the English version of Wikipedia for 24 hours  to raise awareness about legislation being proposed by the U.S. Congress — the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the U.S. House of Representatives, and the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) in the U.S. Senate -- and to encourage readers to speak out against it. The 17th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta will start on February 9, 2012.  This yearly 3-day event at the aviation field of Clark Freeport is one of the reasons why our Country is a must-see destination!

H & I did a quick visit to SWATCH last night and found this unexpected gem!  Lo and behold, the blue and gold limited edition Maryknoll / Miriam College SWATCH watch! 

Being a true blue Knoller (ohh, yes from Nursey till College), I got to have one of this.

The New Year brings fresh hope and excitement to all of us. No matter what happened last year, we find ourselves believing for a better and fulfilled life this year.  The old is gone - wow! Isn't that amazing?  The hope that we have to move forward is a priceless treasure that only those who believe in the One who can shift and make all things new can possess.
