Modern Filipiniana Inspiration

Filipiana, Baro't Saya, JC Buendia, Danilo Franco

I'm planning for a modern filipiniana inspired-look for a costume party in the office. Instead of the usual terno or baro't saya , I'm hoping to put an edgy contemporary twist into it.

Tingnan natin hanggang saan kayanin ng fashion-fasyonan powers ko! ;-)

Oh how stylish these barong can get?!  For the girly - motherly look...

Dita Sandico-Ong wraps are absolutely fabulous.    It can easily dress up a simple plain dress and can be worn year round. Peg ko ito!

Time to bring out those big pearls & capiz!  I saw a lot of these stylish native necklaces everywhere, prices can range from P50 up to thousands depending on the material used.  I think I have some pieces at home I can put together. :)
