It's mid-October already, I still can't decide whether or not I am ready to get our first Christmas Tree. The lack of storage space and permanent dwelling place (a.k.a "just renting") are my top most dilemmas!
After browsing through the net, I found some nice DIY Christmas Tree concepts I can probably do and dismantle easily after the holiday season. O, diba? No permanent commitment necessary! :-)

Among the DIY Christmas Tree alternatives, I am inclined to do the Twigs. I'm thinking of adding some of our photos and small charms we've collected this year. Ain't that nice?
But honestly, no matter what tree size or design, it's the memories that will make our first Christmas Tree magical!
Magical, right?! Photo from unskinnyboppy |
Wishing all of you a happy Christmas decorating time and many merry memories! :)

When we were young, we didn't have a tree that we bought in the store. Every year we would make one. One year it was crepe paper fringes on the wall, we also did the twigs. Now I'm married, we have a tree but I still make the ornaments. I make picture frames and put our pictures in it. I love it! Nice to meet you! A blessed Christmas to you and your family! Patsy from

Nice to meet you too! I love Papemelroti!!!
ReplyDeleteI know, it's different when you do it yourself - it's as if it has more love into it.
The picture w/ frame ornament is a best seller in our family too! Thank you for sharing your lovely story :)
