DIY: Studded Wrap Bracelet

Because our Moms are extraordinary, here's a  stylish & fun gift for Mother's Day inspired by Natalie of Creme Dela Craft.

All you need are some scrap leather/ sturdy cloth, scissors & cutter, brass paper fasteners, and glue gun & glue.  I got my sturdy rubber cloth from my Tita who owns a shoe factory in Marikina.  I was so giddy choosing from all the available colors when I visited her factory, I hope to do more DIY projects from the scrap fabrics they gave me!

The process is pretty simple.  Cut the fabric to its desired size.  Slice a small opening on one side for the fastener, then slice a bigger cut on the other end to close the bracelet.  The bigger the cut on the closer the better, so the size can be adjusted.

Lock your fastener securely with glue.  Then, anything goes from there.  Design your bracelet however you like.  Remember, anything personalized is made from the heart so have fun with it!

You can also punch holes and create abstract designs or even etch 'MOM' using a one-hole puncher. Oh, so stylish for our moms that rock!   :)

  7. This would be a great statement piece especially if the color is bright and bold and the leather is thicker.
