My Weekend's Haul at MAFBEX

The 6th Manila Foods and Beverages Expo (MAFBEX)

Note to self, bring a trolley or taga-buhat next MAFBEX!

My arms & back still hurt from Saturday's buys at World Trade Center.

There were a lot of good deals in the expo from franchise options, kitchen & packaging equipment, and suppliers & local distributors of all sorts.  You can get a bit overwhelmed, so better know what you want before heading to an expo like this to maximize your experience.  On my end, I went there to eat & of course, do some shopping for my little kitchen.

To avoid "getting lost" & nauseated, I literally went aisle to aisle.  I usually use this technique when I'm in Greenhills & Divisoria, crowded places make me dizzy for some reason.  Anyway, here are the items I successfully bought.  If only I have 4 or 8 arms, ang dami ko pang gustong bilhin!

Kettle Potato Chips (Php100) & Soy Fresh (Php45 each)

The bag of chips was gone in an instant!  I should have followed my instincts and bought more.  While the soya milk packs are still in the fridge.  Thinking of starting my cup of milk for dinner diet any day now... ;D

Spy Wine Cooler at Php50 each
Naloka ako dito.  My husband wanted me to buy a case ba naman?! Ack!  I hope the 2 packs of 4 I bought him will last till the next weekend.  I can't wait to post some more feature on this later. :D

Ceramic plates at P100/ pack
Platu-platuhan madness!  I got really excited when I saw this bargain.  Ang bigat lang talaga so I only got 1 set.  My friend and I are planning to visit their shop in MSBEC, Edsa near Quezon Ave. before their mid-year sale ends.

A bag of Onion Rings from McCain (Php135)
I instantly grabbed a bag of breaded onion rings when I heard they're selling it.  I nearly bought the 2.5kilos of french fries too for P275, if it not because of the weight I'm already carrying.  Plus the fact that we're only 2 people in the house!  I laughed when the sales guy said, "ok lang yan ma'am.  1 year naman expiration date nyan."

Kanokwan P50/ bottle
I immediately thought of possible dishes I can cook with these Thai pastes.  I bought 2 kinds of its all purpose stir-fry sauce, Holy Basil Seasoning Paste & Potter Seafood Seasoning Paste.

Again, thank you Ms Jenni Epperson & Worldbex for the complimentary pass.  I had loads of fun!
